You go further when you're not going at it alone.
My parents came to America from Vietnam with no English, no safety net, and no guarantee it would work out. They were chasing the American dream from scratch, and they made it happen. That work ethic was in the air I grew up breathing. You don't wait for permission. You go after what you want. And when you fall down — and you will — you pick yourself back up and keep moving.
What I learned later is that ambition alone isn't enough. Most people with big dreams get stopped by fear. What changes everything is being around the right people: people who are fearless, who take risks, who show you by example that it's actually possible. People who are genuinely cheering for you. That kind of community doesn't just make the journey less lonely. It makes you believe it can happen.
I want everyone in my communities to feel like they belong and have a real place at the table. Like their ideas are worth something. Like there is always space for them, regardless of who does or doesn't approve. At the end of the day, I want people to feel that their life is worth living. That's the core of why I build communities: to help people find their people.
